Needle Barrage

Shoots a barrage of sharp needles into the target, causing moderate piercing damage with a potent mix of piercing pain damage as well. This spell is not particularly powerful for HP reduction, but good for the choice of using pain as a distraction against the opponent. Additionally, its attack form is notably similar to the form of Radial Stars.

Side/Secondary Effects

As the description suggests, this spell is designed with the intention of causing a high degree of pain. Imagine the pain one would feel of a collection of large needles were stuck through you (excluding any internal-body damage), and then multiply that pain scale by the factor of 70%. Pain inflicted this way can slow anyone down and make it harder to move or concentrate.

Manifestation

Only the form and physical technique looks like radial stars. The wielder holds both hands together at opposite angles while aiming at their target, and releases magic into this spell, shooting out dozens of painful needles entirely comprised of magical energy. Despite the involvement of magic, this spell does not use or invoke a glyphring, nor does the elemental scale reduce HP using non-elemental magical damage. Each phased needle of light is a bright fiery color of yellow, and as long as 12 inches, coned to pointed edges on both ends. After entering an object or body, they stick and stay inside for several seconds to amplify the pain it causes for several additional seconds of time without further user input.
