Ozcom's Razor

Ozcom's Razor is a unique spell that has been around for a long time. While the spell is initially hard to learn, the use and advantage of the ability come easy with a small MP cost. The shape of the blade is based off the Zulfiqar, but with a wider and broader end to the blade, making it less sharp but more powerful in blunt force. The sword the specifically spawns from the rapid glyphring is six times that of the original, as it floats high above the spawned location above the target. Once the sword is spawned, there is a 1.1 second delay before the blade is launched into the ground at the speed of sound, and a force powerful enough to crack the thickest of cement. Any opponent hit by this blade will suffer the attack from above rather than anywhere else, driving an intense amount of slashing damage and kinetic damage through the body as they too are slammed into the ground after a clean hit. The slight delay factor gives opponents just enough time to react and dodge should they realize what is coming at them, but with a magically generated blade this big, there is little room for error. This is another standalone spell.

Discovery

While the term "Occam's Razor" is credited to have come from Sir William Hamilton, mages of the late 19th century decided to adapt a new spell based on the "sword of the gods." Initially implemented by a mage whose last name is Ozcom, the spell was eventually changed to match the exact spelling of Ozcom instead of Occam, sparking long term debate about the natural suppression of historical credits for the sake of personal nomenclature. Thus it was decreed in 1902 that all wielders enrolled in any training academy are to learn about the true origin of Occam, and what it has to do with the spell Ozcom's Razor.
