Phantom Drake

Initially thought to be rare due to their low population, it has been discovered that Phantom Drakes are seldom seen due to the fact that these full-body dragons cannot be called out using Leray magic, only with dark magic. Though the concentration difference merges parts of Leray magic and dark magic together with the summoning spell, it does not take a super soldier to summon this dragon, though controlling a Phantom Drake could be one's last actions in life.
Phantom Drakes have non-physical shadow-force bodies, which means their defense is more adept against ordinary spells of all elements. They can fly through physical objects like ghosts, affecting only living creatures by contact. They generate a strong storm in the sky, absorbing electricity, and in return delivering Leray attacks and dark magic attacks that are all colossal on the power level scale. Despite the composition of their essence, Phantom Drakes can alter their tangibility factor to assist their masters at command.
Phantom Drakes rely on dark magic, and so the Phantom Storm spell that is attached to them has been banned by the Sprawn Valley government. Their numeric population on the other hand is unknown, observed to be more than one from existing data.

Anatomy

Phantom Dragons are larger than ordinary elemental drakes, and take on the physial form of a moving pitch black storm in the shape of a dragon when nessisary. They can alter their tangibility, and are somewhat similar by composition to the Aero Drake.

Average Intelligence

Phantom Dragons are very hard to control due to having an independent nature even after being tied to a wielder. They can invoke a collection of Dark Magic spells and fly at super-sonic speeds. Phantom Drakes have an intelligence level higher than Leray drakes.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Drakes and other summons can communicate basic sensory details and commands between the drake and the wielder through mental synchronicity, but they may also sometimes respond to verbal commands.

Body Tint, Colouring and Marking

Phantom Dragons when in physical form take the color of a dark black skin with a cloudy, shadowy texture. When in intangible form, Phantom Drakes are still highly visible, but take the shape and texture of a very dark and stormy cloud of shadowy essence that can feel like an intrusive and evil presence. Despite appearances, they are anything but soft.
