Phantom Wave
Using the similar wave patterns in Shadow Wave, the wielder sends the energy flying in the form of rounded photonic bullets which home in on the target, dealing the same amount of damage a Shadow Wave would do with blunt damage replacing the slashing element. Each of all six projectiles homes in on the target to make dodging or blocking much more difficult. The speed of the attack is also improved.

Manifestation
Phantom Wave has two specific variations that can be executed. The first and easiest variation is most commonly used as an alternative to a traditional Shadow Wave, by means of shifting the attack form properties while retaining most of the magical source that is called upon. In the first variation of Phantom Wave, the wielder quickly charges a surge of Leray energy into a single grip, and fling or blast the collection of dark photons of magic from their hand. This spell always fires a fixed number of six photons, all of which are very dark in color with a dim translucent glow (making them all hard to see with their small size). These bolts have homing properties to their target, making it almost impossible to be dodged. Because of the shape and changed properties of this magic, each photon specifically deals non-elemental magical blunt damage while delivering a strong kinetic force to impact.
The second variation of Phantom Wave is very much like the first. The only difference is that the second variation (which consumes twice the MP energy) first generates a rolling Shadow Wave, then fires the six photons at about the same time. The photons in this case are launched from the auric edge of the Shadow Wave instead of from the wielder's body directly. Naturally, the dark translucent photons will all strike first, but the damage incurred will leave that wielder open for the next attack of the enroute Shadow Wave. Most wielders do not use this variation even knowing of the possibility, for the simple reason that plenty of other spells will do better with a lower MP cost overall.
