Photon Blast

This popular and difficult to master spell delivers a devastating forward area attack. Photon Blast is widely known for celebrity Leray fighters who use it in battle, generating an incredibly wide field of bright blue beams that graze the target in an unavoidable, unlockable barrage of beams from the burst of energy. The attack spell delivers damage over time, so even though the magical beams of energy pierce through the body, causing great pain, the damage level is also incredibly lethal to anyone unfortunate enough to run into it. However, the attack can also be modified to use fast traveling blue photon barrages instead of beams without changing other stats.
Photon Blast is always seen first as a very long invocation period charge up time with a small but incredibly powerful blue glyphring for non-elemental elements. Once the glyphring is charged and aimed to the target, the power is released in a wide-area burst of blue lasers (or projectile photons) to either cover a large area, or focus on a single fixed target, bombarding them with high power level beam/bolt attacks that deliver a devastating ultimatum of damage. Those who can use Photon Blast are considered high ranking Leray wielders just by knowing the skill alone, and are said to stand a chance in battle against any Elite Leray wielder.

Gestures & Ritual

It is best when charging this ability and its glyphring to use both hands while holding the arms low to the ground on either side of the body. When charged, the wielder should then shove their arms and their aim to the direction they want their attack to flow. The glyphring for this spell is highly mobile, allowing this gesture to be completed.
