Prone Strike
This spell is always successful against opponents who do not know of such a rare yet powerful attack used by only a select trained few. Prone Strike begins by sending what appears to be a Shadow Wave that is hard to see due to its shortness and smearing into the ground with almost no height level at all. Right before impact against the opponent, the shadow wave force gains high altitude in a microsecond, and explodes right above the target's head - inflicting explosive damage infused with magical properties. This is the final possible evolutionary tier of Shadow Wave.

Side/Secondary Effects
Due to the rapid and severe reduction of HP stats to a wielder caused by magical explosive damage, some disorientation and dizziness may occur.
This spell has occasionally been reported to have exceeded the power level's maximum safety scale for Leray damage. As a result, anyone directly hit by Prone Strike may sustain a mild amount of real time damage despite the spell's properties only consisting of energy formatted for Leray magic.
Manifestation
The reason Prone Strike is often successful isn't just that the range of its explosive energy extends far, but also that the initial appearance of this modified Shadow Wave appears almost exactly like an ordinary Shadow Wave as it advances close to the target. There is a visual difference however; in the fact that the height of this Shadow Wave is much shorter than normal, and doesn't grow in height as it travels through the ground. Due to the dark-shadowy essence of this appearance, this difference actually makes spotting, visualizing, and tracking this wave as it slides in the earth much more difficult.
Once the wave is within 3 meters of the target, the collection of energy suddenly jumps five meters straight up before detonating a millisecond after. The sudden surge of energy creates the explosion of non-elemental magical force with a ring-wave effect, ensuring that anyone within 25 meters of the detonation zone will sustain heavy magical damage. The explosive blast is made entirely out of Leray magic, so no shrapnel is involved. And for wielders wondering about its kick-back effects, the explosion and shockwave do affect the wielder who created this as well. Best used at longer ranges.

Effect Duration
Prone Strikes travel at the same rate of speed as a Firesurge spell, which is partly the reason why tremendous practice with Firesurge is needed to master this skill. The time between the jump and detonation is almost instantaneous.
Effect Casting Time
MP generation does take time. But once this ability is charged, it can be cast instantly.

Applied Restriction
Prone Strikes can be difficult to use. The sudden release of this much MP energy makes it difficult to cast this spell more than once in a shorter period of time. Those who try to spam Prone Strike will find that they are unable to successfully invoke the second invocation. A gradual waiting period must be set first, but this period varies between other wielders.
