Refraction
Refeaction is a summon ability, and cannot be used or modified to be used by humans. The user of the summon commands one of the many active sentinels to "refract", causing one sentinel of the chosen element to abruptly absorb all of the other elemental sentinels around it for pure energy, and allowing that single remaining sentinel to disperse a large amount of elemental bolts out into the field, spinning rapidly to unleash a hell of spheres in an omnidirectional manner of the barrage. The elemental bolts that are dispersed depend on the specific sentinel chosen to be the refractor node. After the dispersion finishes, the remaining sentinel self-destructs, ending the entire summoning sequence. The power level is based on the number of elemental bolts able to be launched at once, which depends on the previous status of all other sentinels. On average a good Refraction should have a power level of 10. Since sentinel absorption is required to start and cast the spell, at least one other sentinel must be active to use this spell. With more active sentinels are on the field prior to invoking the spell, the number of bolts used in the barrage is increased, 20 per active sentinel for a maximum of 100 bolts if all six sentinels were active before Refraction was used. The remaining sentinel always flies as close to the target as possible to maximize the damage and accuracy. If battling against a summon, the wielder of Sentinel can for example invoke Refraction while choosing the Ethereal Sentinel, causing that sentinel to self-destruct close to the enemy summon while bombarding that area with up to 100 small (reduced elemental damage by individual bolt) Spirit Bolts, which even as each bolt is limited will annihilate most creatures.
