Sylph Wave

Sylph Wave is described as a unique ability, one made from an inverted Shadow Wave with altered properties and the infusion of dark magic energy. The wielder sends out a tall solid red line of magic traveling forward down the field at a very high rate of speed. This line kind of resembles the two-dimensional Splice line from the Splice ability, but when viewed from the sides, resembles a transparent red energy wall advancing forward. This two-dimensional line of dark magic can be skewed or slanted so that the orientation is not entirely vertical. But when it slashes through the target, real time damage is incurred, as well as a very intense amount of physical pain. Despite the ability being incapable of being formatted to use Leray magic, Sylph Wave is actually restrained in power level somewhat. The design of this appears to be intentional, made to conserve MP energy and torture opponents through pain rather than fatally harm them. For this reason, Sylph Wave is easier to use and easier to invoke, but it is not the deadliest dark magic spells.
