Thunder Dome

Thunder Dome is one of the many lost spells with misunderstood advantages to its caliber. Thunder Dome strikes with a similar payload style to that of Thunder Flare. When cast, the ability actually retains no effect at all for several seconds, up to a maximum duration of 14 seconds. This delaying effect was an intentional design to the spell, as the predetermined spawn location of this ability cannot be changed once the MP energy is dispersed from the wielder. There is no further control from the wielder between the invocation and the actual effect showing up. When Thunder Dome does finally take effect, a 2.5 meter space is closed off to the target in the shape of a dome sealed to the ground. This domical field charges with electrical energy quickly, and has the same visual appearance other than its basic shape to that of a Thunder Flare attack. The power level of this spell is said not to be impressive, but has not officially been determined since the day the ability was not properly tracked. For obvious reasons, Thunder Dome is very easy to dodge due to its delayed effect, and is not very popular among the wielders who attempt to use this. However, there may be more practical uses for a spell that discharges electrical energy in a fixed location with a predetermined delay, perhaps in a work place for those who must work with electricity.
