Thunder Flare
Thunder Flare is one of the most balanced electrical abilities widely used by advanced Leray wielders or those of higher ranks. The balance between average MP cost to power level ratio coupled with the jolt hold of this nearly unavoidable electrical attack has made Thunder Flare one of the most popular standard abilities.
The wielder casts this spell, which then causes a jade-color electrical sphere to expand and spawn with the target already inside and at the center. The sphere expands to the diameter of 2.7 meters, then charges up the internal electrical field. During the spawning and charging of this sphere, which usually takes only 0.9 seconds, the sphere itself remains holographic and void of effects to any person, giving the target a small opportunity to dive out of the sphere and escape the ultimate payload. Once activated however, the sphere begins discharging this electrical elemental energy into the target, putting them into a jolt hold while damage is inflicted over a lengthy period of time, causing great pain during the attack, and some drain after the attack is over. The sphere shrinks down and fades away once the energy is depleted.
