Weapon: Absorber Staff

Absorber Staffs offer no protection, other than a natural ability such as Electric Bane. These staffs specifically allow the wielder to conserve the amount of MP energy that is used for every single spell that is cast by an average factor of 20%. Wielders who use Absorber Staffs in Leray battles are not allowed to hold another weapon at a time during that battle. The special crystal at the core of the staff works with a feedback aura that behaves as an extension of that wielder's magical circuits, forcing most magical spells to be cast through the end of this staff.

Significance

Absorber staffs have one focus; saving MP for all spells used through the special crystal. A wielder using this will easily outlast another wielder who doesn't have this staff regarding the gradual degradation of MP energy in combat. Staffs when used in most Leray battles cannot be swapped out for other weapons, and cannot ever be obtained through the use of generation glyphrings.
