Most gauntlets are made out of steel with protective padding on the inside. Gauntlets behave like gloves, but help pack an incredible punch when using them to strike targets, inflicting a great amount of physical blunt damage. Gauntlets come in many varieties as well. Most can be infused with elemental energy for increased auric damage per strike, but gauntlets in particular have known issues with this kind of infusion.

These are the cheapest weapons used to inflict physical blunt damage while maintaining speed during combat, best used against a highly armored target.
