Whicked Whyrl
Whicked Whyrl is the name of the summoning spell that draws out the legendary Aero Drake (which is an air drake) that will support its master in a magic battle. Aero Drakes are incredible creatures of the strongest wind magic that manifests an unusual body with the soul of an ancient dragon of the air elements. Rare in population, Aero Drakes are never available to locate in the Sprawn Valley veil. Their spacial locations relative to the magic dimension always appears to be in some of the most exotic desert biomes of the world, which strongly hints to the kind of natural physical environment that Aero Drakes enjoy the most. Unlike other summoning spells, elemental drakes such as the Aero Drake cannot be linked to a wielder simply by practicing this spell. Instead, the wielder who practices strongly with the Whicked Whyrl summoning technique must get lucky when their spell does invoke properly and is capable of shifting the phasic dimensions of a nearby spatially located Aero Drake. Once called out, that wielder must then defeat the Aero Drake in a single battle, part of an ancient trial. If the wielder is successful in defeating the creature and doing so with honor, the Aero Drake will mentally link with that wielder and join their journey for the remainder of that wielder's days. Even though the Sprawn Valley veil is the only place that can enable Leray magic, it is theoretically possible to attempt acquisition of an Aero Drake by traveling to the known desert locations where they are closest to in relation to the magical dimension, while harvesting a magical source off a strong supply off of charged Leray crystals.
Aero Drakes are very difficult to take on in battle. Their physical essence consists of physical air that swirls around in hundreds of partially visible rings of wind collected together, in the form of the drake. The drake therefore is immune to all physical attacks since it is not possible to deal damage ordinarily to the air alone. Aero Drakes are also immune to earth elemental magic, wind elemental magic, electric elemental magic, water elemental magic, and is resistant to fire elemental magic and spirit elemental magic. A strong summoning aura will be needed to control such a worthy summon.

Manifestation
The wielder charges a tremendous amount of MP energy, generating one strong light-grey glyphring that assists the summon into physical space, which is very large (25 meters diameter) while the glyphring forms very high up in the air to give the creature flight once the spawning is complete. This single glyphring send out strong blasts of high speed wind in all directions from the edges. The wielder concentrates on spawning the Aero Drake while the wind glyphring forms over time becoming less transparent towards its completion. The Aero Drake from this spell is based on an endurance level system, which means the drake can be defeated in combat through HP reduction. Due to the long invocation period, it is easy to interrupt the wielder trying to summon with a strong enough attack. The Aero Drake knows a variety of powerful wind elemental spells that it will always use mostly in its own discretion. Wielders who are properly linked but not properly respected by these intelligent drakes may be ignored by their own summons and take make their own decisions wildly.
Aero Drakes have a physical essence that consists of physical air that swirls around in hundreds of partially visible rings of wind collected together, in the form of the drake. Each of these rings alone spins wind around in circles at a speed of 370 miles per hour. Collectively, they combine together and make the shape of a dragon with very sharp fangs and claws. The essence while made out of fast moving wind can interact with physical objects because of the speed and density of the air of the drake itself, giving it the full elemental advantage of air magic and proving just how powerful the underrated elemental attribute can be.

Discovery
Whicked Whyrl is the name of the spell that spawns the Aero Drake, because it was named by the locals of a desert village during a highly unusual situation caused by an Aero Drake. The village recalled and recorded an event in which an Aero Drake spawned into the physical dimension of their area, and unleashed havoc on the village with its strong magic, destroying the structures and injuring the people there in its raging wrath. Scientific mages were able to corroborate this 800 year old story, tracing the wrath and spawning of this Aero Drake to that of a hidden mage who used magic crystals to exact revenge on the village, of whom was never caught. Thus, the spell name for Aero Drakes retained the name of Whicked Whyrl, despite such ravaging behavior not being common or natural to most Aero Drakes.
