Wings of Night

Zantos does have wings and can take flight, but often prefers not to fly when facing any interesting or brave human targets. When invoking Wings of Night, Zantos spans both of its wings outwards while charging lunar energy into these wings. When charged, this energy is released, and the general target area is bombarded with pure lunar bolts that drop a few lunar lightning bolts downward as well, inflicting extremely heavy and devastating damage. The ability in summary unleashes a small put potent barrage of lunar bolts charged through the magical circuits in the wings of Zantos. Each of these bolts carries about the same energy and general power level as a single bolt from Lunar Burst.

Side/Secondary Effects

Lunar magic in terms of any attack spell is highly destructive in nature. Unlike Dark Magic, lunar magic does not rely on a person's internal rage/hatred to function, nor does lunar magic require an external magic source like a Leray veil or a dark zone to work. Therefore, the destructive effects do more than just ignore the Leray veil's protective effects on human targets. Lunar magic actually disrupts the connection between the target's personal aura and the veil's protection link to that aura, which can remove their ability to properly use additional magic and to stay protected from any format of additional damage, where it was previous natural. Lunar magic therefore is far more lethal and likely to inflict serious real time damage to targets than Leray magic or dark magic.

Manifestation

Almost all lunar magic when released retains a strong bright blue coloration and powerful glow, which is a natural law set by the standards of lunar magic. When Zantos charges this ability, the entire wingspan on both sides has a powerful glow, but the lights most strongly trace the normally invisible pathways of its magical circuits. When the energy is releases, these lunar bolts, about twenty of them are shot off at the end of random pathways that end at the edges of areas on the wings, and curve downward after leaving this pathway at a high rate of speed. These bolts have mild homing properties, but more so target a general area rather than a specific area to make dodging less possible. Wings of Night has a 50% chance to appear on the Action Display Center.
