Zero Aura

Zero Aura is a special variation of the Zero Zone spell that most would consider totally impossible since modifying something as strong as Zero Zone would require unparalleled control of personal aura modulation and magical aura concentration with minimal strain of the magical circuits. The ability basically invokes several Zero Zone auras in succession while each activation and deactivation is under the user's complete and total control. The idea involves exerting a fraction of the normal MP energy requirement for the first Zero Zone, which on its own limits the duration of that aura proportionally. When the aura ends naturally, or cut short by a small MP energy burst by the wielder, the wielder can then instant reinstate a new Zero Zone aura that is also just as limited more or less as the previous one, repeating the process until enough total MP has been exerted (about 55% max).   The result causes the wielder to phase in and out of multiple time distortions, enabling them the ability to move around at incremental and critical moments of time when it is passing, and taking advantage of the quantum displacement during the time distortion, which in all totality gives that wielder significantly more time to take action through the cumulative opportunity of gained time than when using the ordinary spell of Zero Zone. Imagine a wielder entering Zero Zone, attacking a target, exiting Zero Zone from a different location, allowing them to enable another chain of attacks from their new position, only to prevent countering by entering another Zero Zone aura instantly at will with only a fraction of the MP cost and aura duration. The idea is fairly similar in opportunistic style as it is with the third version of Dark Strike. Therefore it is no surprise that Jane Venn is the wielder who invented this spell, and still remains the only Leray wielder capable of using this variation of Zero Zone chaining.     Predecessor Spells: Zero Zone
