Species of Stars Edge

In this galaxy, it is hard to believe that at some point in the past, many species believed they were alone. Due to long distance communication speeds, interstellar target leading not being implemented, and sometimes just disinterest in finding extra-terrestrial life, most major civilizations only encountered one another in the Drift Era. When interstellar travel became easier, and communication stopped being limited by the speed of light, numerous species met each other directly. This has resulted in many interesting times, which leads us to today.
