Kaos Klan
The madmen that madmen call mad
There are somethings even absolute madmen won't consider. Tampering with the very fabric of reality is one. Reading the The Kaoticon is another. Wearing socks with sandals is a third. The Kaos Klan is a group who defy even those limits, along with natural selection. They actively seek out the pages of The Kaoticon for the rituals and spells contained within. This is usually their downfall, as groups who attempt these rituals usually wind up unleashing horrors from beyond the veil of time and space that are fueled by life energy, something the Klansmen have an abundance of.
Despite this, they somehow manage to have enough numbers to try again, sometimes centuries after the failed attempt, but nevertheless, they do make their return. While the public generally considers them a mere myth, they are not to be underestimated. While their overall goal comes from a questionable state of mind, this same state makes them unpredictably clever, and what they lack in foresight after performing their ritual, the more than make up for with organization, diversion, secrecy, and above all, patience.
