The Oracles serve as the interpretors of visions from The God Realm, described as "having a foot in each world", and therefore valued for their expertise and wisdom on the subject. It is a given title to the person most gifted in (or drugged into) their enhanced Veil Sight.
The role of the Oracle is to view in to the God Realm, and guide their flock towards a better understanding of it, in hopes of one day entering there.

Requirements
Common for all is the rare ability to see beyond the Veil, common for the most successful of them is the condition Moon Skin which seems to be linked by some unknown factor.
Responsibilities
An Oracle is tasked with spending as much time as possible scrying and studying The God Realm, finding answers and making assumptions on their experiences with the purpose of enlightening the masses and guiding their lives.
Benefits
"An Oracle shall want for nothing". They are lavished with gifts, and it is the duty of the monks/nuns to keep them comfortable, well fed, well drugged if needed and well informed.
Accoutrements & Equipment
Under ceremonies, an Oracle's entire body is painted in all known colors. Perhaps something with ribbons or veils?
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
If challenged on their ability to see into the God Realm or interpret it's meaning by a contender for the title, the challenge must be accepted.

I made this world because my mind keeps rambling, and instead of stopping it, I'm riding the wave.
It started with a picture in my mind of a tiger man in a small spacecraft following a giant tiger in space, in the tone of old saturday morning cartoons and the Heavy Metal animated movie.
Then came the idea of his occational ally, a woman in space flying a small asteroid. The more I wrote on her, the more I got intrigued by the past, I deviced.
Right now the flow is focused on her background - namely all related to The Genesis Project.
I do all of the writing and almost all of the drawing myself at this point.
My hope for Star Tiger is a published story or a graphical novel, but my big dream is an animated show.
