The Techno-Corps

The Techno-Corps was a branch of the TCF (Terran Combined Forces) that classified as Mobile Infantry.
They were elite shock troops in mech suits send in to cause damage and strike fear into enemy hearts.
Most soldiers at this time in history was cybernetically enhanced, and none so much as the Techno-Corps.

Composition

Manpower

The Corps counted 45.000 soldiers in mech suits, and another 15.000 soldiers in reserve and as acting technicians etc.

Equipment

Every one of the 45.000 has their own mech suits to which their bodies (or stumps) are heavily connected.
It has wires to check every vital information about the soldier, and tubes to keep them fed, waste relieved and drugged as needed.

Weaponry

The mech suit carries larger rifles than a human would be able to carry.
The hands themselves packs quite a punch in close quarters combat as well as the ability to rip most things apart.
Last but not least, the mech suit comes with a couple of tactical explosives

Vehicles

The support troops come in wheeled carriers and possibly scouts in speeders of a sort.

Structure

Leader of the Corps hold the rank of Lieutenant General.
The 45.000 units split in groups of 5.000 each lead by a Colonel
Etc.

Tactics

Mostly used as shock troops, these soldiers were often dropped in from orbit, regrouping while causing a lot of destruction and chaos, whereafter they'd charge the most fortified positions.

Training

Soldiers applying to this corps had to have been through extensive training before even being concidered.
After joining this crew they'd have to go through a new more intense boot camp to make sure only the best of the best joined.
Learning to use the mech can also take some time, depending on how digital a soldier's mind have become.

I made this world because my mind keeps rambling, and instead of stopping it, I'm riding the wave.
It started with a picture in my mind of a tiger man in a small spacecraft following a giant tiger in space, in the tone of old saturday morning cartoons and the Heavy Metal animated movie.
Then came the idea of his occational ally, a woman in space flying a small asteroid. The more I wrote on her, the more I got intrigued by the past, I deviced.
Right now the flow is focused on her background - namely all related to The Genesis Project.
I do all of the writing and almost all of the drawing myself at this point.
My hope for Star Tiger is a published story or a graphical novel, but my big dream is an animated show.
