Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (DS9)

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, frequently abbreviated as DS9, takes place during the last years of and immediately after the Next Generation (2369–2375). It debuted the week of January 3, 1993, and ran for seven seasons. Unlike the other Star Trek series, Deep Space Nine was set primarily on a space station of the same name rather than aboard a starship. The liberated Bajoran people ask the United Federation of Planets to help run a space station near Bajor.
