Jedi Grand Master

The wisest, or most powerful, Jedi can be appointed as The Grand Master. There is no requirement that this position is filled. No person has sought this position and attained it. The personality, and power, required to reach this elevation is anathema to the type of pride that would cause somebody to seek the rank.

Appointment

At any point The Jedi High Council may consider a Jedi Master for elevation to the rank of Grand Master. The Council considers the entire body of work the Master has assembled. Each council member casts a secret ballot and only on a unanimous vote is a Grand Master recognized.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

No Jedi Grand Master has ever been removed from their post.
