Mantellian Seperatist Movement

The Mantellian Seperatist Movement gained momentum in the years following the Great Galactic War. After the entire local defense force was sold off, many citizens started to realize that the entire populace was unsatisfied with the status quo. These separatists sought planetary independence from Coruscant . Their main strongholds were located on the island of Avilatan where they made use of the badlands and series of underground caves to their advantage. Only a segment of their leadership realizes they are enjoying the backing of arms and propaganda from the Sith Empire which wants to widen the divide between Ord Mantell and the Republic .

Structure

Loose structure. At the bottom it resembles a terrorist network of cells, but as things bubble up to the top it begins to resemble a more legitimate rebellion. The legitimate pieces try to draw attention away from the more violent pieces.

Public Agenda

Secede Ord Mantell from the Galactic Republic. Once that is done then Ord Mantell will once again be free to charter its own destiny.
