Korriban Crystal

A unique mineral found on the planet Korriban, these crystals have a natural resonance that interacts with Force power. By projecting an individual's force waves into the crystalline structure their inherent nature may be revealed: those who are dominated by the dark side of the Force will cause a reddish hue to glow within whereas those aligned toward the light side will emit a bluish glow. Force users with higher ability mastery, however, can easily direct their energy into the crystal to shine however they choose. The shade will vary depending on how strong one's attachment to those emotions are, and for those not aligned to a side the crystal will shimmer in a clouded white color. If held by something with no connection to the force, such as a droid, the crystal will become inert an turn a darker grey color.
