Sentinel Droid Mk. I
A common variant of security droids, the sentinel is used by many organizations throughout the galaxy. Often used as a supplement to peacekeeping forces, depending on the deployment they may carry blaster rifles during hostile encounters or stun blasters during civil disturbances.
APPEARANCE
The Sentinel Mk. I is a bipedal droid build with a humanoid shape out of grey metal, usually painted with the color and emblem of whichever group they serve. Designed with a more geometrical build, the sentinel droid chassis is more angular and box-like than many droids. While built in the general shape of a human, their hands are created with three jointed graspers rather than the traditional five of humanoids.
BEHAVIOR
Semi-sentient, the sentinel droid understands galactic basic and, if certain modifications are bought, can be programmed to understand other languages - though they are seldom outfitted with the advanced response capabilities. Often serving as bodyguards, the sentinel droids are programmed to protect the lives of anyone within their registry system and will defend against any hostile actions committed against them.
HISTORY
Originally created as a base model for battle droids, Kellenech Technologies found out that this template was favored by civil governments due to its durable yet non-threatening design. Many administrations, most notably the Ahto Citiy Civil Authority on Manaan, bulk ordered these droids to implement as partners to their live employees.
