Junior Lieutenant Ava Archer is a recent academy graduate on her first assignment as the Unscrupulous' Co-Pilot.
She is still relatively inexperienced but her instructor Lieutenant Chandra has high hopes for her.

Being born on the mainly spaceship exporting world of Fondor, to a family of self-employed freighter pilots her fascination for spaceships began at a young age.

While she always planned to step into her parents shoes and eventually take over the family business an unfortunate tragedy foiled her plans.
During a cargo haul in the Outer Rim Territories Archer's parents were killed and their freighter destroyed in a pirate attack
Following this Archer enlisted in the Imperial Academy on Fondor and soon began training to become a warship helmswoman.

During her time at the Academy she was a mostly average student but stood out as being very knowledgeable about starships and spaceflight.
Apparently her interest in aeronautics sometimes even got to the point of overenthusiasm and her grades in other academy subjects would suffer because of it.

Archer is known to be very law- and protocol-abiding and has a burning distaste for criminality and other kinds of dissidence, this might have been caused by the traumatic loss of her parents at the hands of pirates. But even so she seems to be noticeably quiet about her opinions on the New Republic.
