Commander Jarek Darsten
Commander Jarek Darsten is a Kuati officer serving in Fleet Admiral Myrko Kerrith's Imperial Remnant as the Unscrupulous' captain.
Early in his career, shortly after he joined the Galactic Republic's navy the Clone Wars broke out. During the course of the war he saw many different battles and gained much practical experience.
When the Republic was reformed into the Galactic Empire in 19 BBY he remained officer in the navy for a short while but decided to transfer to the Imperial Academy on his home planet Kuat, after he was forced to open fire on civilians during the rebellion on Raxus.
During the battle of Kuat in 5 ABY, parts of the Imperial Academy's facilities on the planet's shipyards were hit by a New Republic proton torpedo while Darsten was teaching a practical Applied Space Warfare Theoretics lesson. He selflessly rescued many of the imperial students and for his heroic deeds he received the imperial Medal of Honor.
Witnessing the battle prompted him to once again join the Imperial Navy's Fleet as a commanding officer and he took part in the Empire's devastating defeat at the Battle of Jakku before joining Fleet Admiral Myrko Kerrith's Imperial Remnant.
In recent days rumors started spreading that Darsten is to return to "Aegis" for promotion and reassignment. This might be the reason why he personally requested one of his old students to be assigned to the Unscrupulous, as he could be looking for his successor.Physical Description
