Fleet Admiral Myrko Kerrith

Fleet Admiral Myrko Kerrith is commander-in-chief and de facto leader of one of the largest Imperial Remnant factions as well as commanding officer of Task Force 163.

He was born to a family of diplomats and raised on Coruscant, where he also joined the Imperial Naval Academy.
Because of his calm and calculating nature he proved to be a capable strategist and rose through the Navy's ranks during the early years of the Galactic Empire.

Even though he wasn't as openly competitive as other imperial officers, he began being recognized for his talents by the Imperial Security Bureau and in 1 BBY he was appointed commander of Task Force 163 to lead a top secret naval operation.

When Task Force 163 finally returned from its mission in the months after the battle of Jakku, his tactical skill proved to be of vital importance as he managed to win a handful of decisive battles against the New Republic Navy, most notably at the Battle for the Ring of Kafrene, where he managed to lure two New Republic fleets into an devastating ambush, haltering the momentum the New Republic had gained against the Imperial Remnants.

Possibly due to his heritage Kerrith also possesses a hand for politics and succeeded in improving relations with many star systems, even some which had previously suffered under the rule of the Galactic Empire.
He openly acknowledges the failures of old imperial governance and is seemingly committed to a more tolerant political course, which caused other more hard-line imperial splinter factions to denounce him.
