Owing to their success in the Battle of Endor, the Rebel Alliance began to reorganize into a fledgling new government known as the New Republic.
While the newly formed New Republic Senate continues to be enmeshed in political quarrels over the future of the galaxy, military campaigns on the last imperial holdouts that reject the Galactic Concordance treaty are being launched.
The newly formed New Republic Senate replaced the Council of the Alliance to Restore the Republic as ruling governmental body in the galaxy.
The many political factions represented in the Senate continue to quarrel on all aspects of the galaxies future.
Some of them for example calling for immediate military action against the factions of the Imperial Remnant, while others dismiss the threat and want to see more pressing discussed.
