Heavy Weapons
Mandalorian heavy infantry were legendary warriors that were known for their frightening appearances and the destruction they wrought on the battlefield than for their charming personalities.
The handling of heavy weapons was no small task. It required special physical training in order to both carry and move the heavy equipment across the battlefield. Often times, heavy infantry were transported to a location where they set up their turrets with the help of a combat engineer.
In rare cases, elite heavy infantry troops used jet packs to quickly transport themselves and their heavy weapons across the battlefield to critical points.
Prerequisites: Strength 16 or higher AND Weapon Group Proficiency: Heavy Weapons
Prerequisites are not required if the Mandalorian has the Mandalorian Commando prestige class.
+2 to attack rolls with heavy weapons
Special Feat: Heavy Turret Spray
When attacking with a mounted weapon, the heavy weapons expert can lift the weapon off the mount and fire it like a rifle. Add +1 die to damage -1 to attack roll due to its weight.
If the weapon is a heavy load, the specialist can hold it for 2 turns, if it is a medium load, 4 turns, and if it is a light load, the expert can do this indefinitely. When the load is medium or higher the specialist may choose to set it back on the mount (if it is in range) or fire the weapon one last time.
If the mount is out of range or the heavy weapons expert fires it one last time, the weapon is dropped and takes 1d8 damage.
If the heavy weapons expert uses a force point to attack in this fashion, both the period of which they can hold the weapon and the attack is doubled.
