STAR WARS: Burning Sky is a campaign setting built upon Fantasy Flight Games' Edge of the Empire, set during an indeterminable period in the cyclical history of the Star Wars universe. It is an era of calamity and corruption, as the great Republic has fallen before the ever-growing might of the Galactic Empire. Now the Core Worlds toil beneath the oppression of the Sith, while the Imperial armies continue their relentless conquest. More worlds fall beneath their jackboots with each passing month. You aren't Luke Skywalker. You aren't even Han Solo, destined to find his purpose with princesses and jedi knights. You're a simple being, trying to make your way in the galaxy. You do jobs. Run a few chems, pull the odd security gig, maybe put down a Moff if the money's just right, but restoring the Republic is somebody else's game. You have to keep your ship in the sky and your crew alive in an increasingly small sky.
