Counter Clutch

You are able to counter Grab and Grapple attacks, redirecting them back on your attacker.

Counter Clutch

Prerequisite: Grapple Specialist

• Benefit: You gain a +2 bonus to your Combat Maneuver Defense against Grab and Grapple attacks. If an enemy misses you when making a Grab or Grapple attack, you can immediately make your own Grab attack against the same enemy as a Reaction.

Improved Counter Clutch

Prerequisites: Grapple Specialist & Counter Clutch

• Benefit: You gain a +3 bonus to your Combat Maneuver Defense against Grab and Grapple attacks. If an enemy misses you when making a Grab or Grapple attack, you can immediately make your own Grab attack against the same enemy as a Reaction.

Special: You may make a; Crush, Drag, Pin, Slam, Strike, Submission, Throw, Steal, or Trip; instead of a Grapple attack.

Master Counter Clutch

Prerequisites: Grapple Specialist & Improved Counter Clutch

• Benefit: You gain a +5 bonus to your Combat Maneuver Defense against Grab and Grapple attacks. If an enemy misses you when making a Grab or Grapple attack, you can immediately make your own Grab attack against the same enemy as a Reaction. You also gain a +5 to your Attack Roll for this Grapple attack.

Special: You may make a; Crush, Drag, Pin, Slam, Strike, Submission, Throw, Steal, or Trip; instead of a Grapple attack.
