Creating Your Character

Initial Character Creation

  • PC Ability Scores are determined by a 29-point buy system.Click here for an Ability Score Calculator {Click on the Custom Rules tab, switch Available Points to 29 & switch the Maximum Purchasable Attribute Before Bonuses to 18 before determining your scores}
  • Select your Species from the Playable species category on World Anvil.
  • Choose Your Base Class from the five options on World Anvil; Force-User, Noble, Scoundrel, Scout, or Soldier.
  • Use your Character's Base Class & Species to determine your Attribute Scores & Vital Stats Scores. After choosing your Talents and Feats you may need to adjust your Character Scores again.
  • Your character's Attribute Saves is determined by your Attribute Modifier + 1/2 your hero level (rounded down).

Determining Combat Statistics.

  • Hitpoints are determined by your Base Class hit die + your Constitution Modifier, consult the World Anvil class article that corresponds with your class for further information.
  • Your Character's General Defense is the stat that most attacks will target. A Character's General Defense is determined by 10 + 1/2 Hero Level (rounded down) + Dexterity Modifier + Class Bonuses + Apparel Bonuses + Natural Armor Bonuses + Size Modifier + Species Modifier + additional bonuses + Encumbrance Modifiers.
  • Fortitude Defense= 10 + 1/2 Hero Level (rounded down) + Consitution modifier + Class Bonuses + Apparel Bonuses + Natural Armor Bonuses + Size Modifier + Species Modifier + additional bonuses + Encumbrance Modifiers.
  • Reflex Defense= 10 + 1/2 Hero Level (rounded down) + Dexterity modifier + Class Bonuses + Apparel Bonuses + Natural Armor Bonuses + Size Modifier + Species Modifier + additional bonuses + Encumbrance Modifiers + Armor penalty.
  • Will Defense = 10 + 1/2 Hero Level (rounded down) + Wisdom modifier + Class Bonuses + Apparel Bonuses + Species Modifier + addition bonuses.
  • A Character's Condition Track is determined by 15 + Class Talents + Equipment + Species Abilities + Apparel Bonuses + additional bonuses.
  • Damage Threshold is determined by, {5 + 1/2 Hero Level (rounded down) + Consitution Modifier + Class modifier + Equipment Bonuses + Size Bonuses + Species Bonuses + Ability Bonuses.}
  • Mental Stress Threshold is determined by, {5 + 1/2 Hero Level (rounded down) + Wisdom Modifier + Class modifier + Equipment Bonuses + Species Bonuses + Ability Bonuses.}
  • Base Attack Bonus is determined by your class, check your class on World Anvil for the correct BAB.
  • Skills work similarly to the standard rules, with the inclusion of many additional Skills, the complete list will be on World Anvil.
  • Feats work in a multi-tier system with some having three tiers and others having four. The complete list of feats is available on World Anvil.
  • Starting Credits is based on your Class.
