Semi-Rapid Fire

You can make quick shots with a ranged weapon as a single attack.

Semi-Rapid Fire

Prerequisites: Base Attack Bonus +1, Multi-Shot, & Weapon Proficiency (Chosen Weapon)
  • Benefit: When using a ranged weapon you are proficient with, as a Full Round Action, you may fire a number of multiple attacks equal to (2 + your Base Attack Bonus) or your blaster's overheat rating/the number of slugs in the magazine (whichever happens first). Your initial attack takes a -3 penalty and increases by 2 every other attack: -3, -3, -5, -5, -7, -7, etc. You also receive a -2 penalty when you change targets during the same attack. Semi-Rapid Fire attacks do not cause critical damage nor activate Devastating Critical Injuries.

Improved Semi-Rapid Fire

Prerequisites: Base Attack Bonus +3, Multi-Shot, Weapon Proficiency (Chosen Weapon), & Semi-Rapid Fire.
  • Benefit: When using a ranged weapon you are proficient with, as a Full Round Action, you may fire a number of multiple attacks equal to (3 + your Base Attack Bonus) or your blaster's overheat rating/the number of slugs in the magazine (whichever happens first). Your initial attack takes a -2 penalty and increases by 2 every other attack: -2, -2, -4, -4, -6, -6, etc. You also receive a -2 penalty when you change targets during the same attack. Semi-Rapid Fire attacks do not cause critical damage but activate Devastating Critical Injuries.

Master Semi-Rapid Fire

Prerequisites: Base Attack Bonus +5, Multi-Shot, Weapon Proficiency (Chosen Weapon), & Improved Semi-Rapid Fire.
  • Benefit: When using a ranged weapon you are proficient with, as a Full Round Action, you may fire a number of multiple attacks equal to (4 + your Base Attack Bonus) or your blaster's overheat rating/the number of slugs in the magazine (whichever happens first). Your initial attack takes a -2 penalty and increases by 1 every other attack: -2, -2, -3, -3, -4, -4, etc. You also receive a -2 penalty when you change targets during the same attack. Semi-Rapid Fire attacks do not cause critical damage but activate Devastating Critical Injuries.

Perfect Semi-Rapid Fire

Prerequisites: Base Attack Bonus +7, Multi-Shot, Weapon Proficiency (Chosen Weapon), Master Semi-Rapid Fire, & Commando Training.
  • Benefit: When using a ranged weapon you are proficient with, as a Standard Action, you may fire a number of multiple attacks equal to (5 + your Base Attack Bonus) or your blaster's overheat rating/the number of slugs in the magazine (whichever happens first). Your initial attack takes a -2 penalty and increases by 1 every other attack: -2, -2, -3, -3, -4, -4, etc. You also receive a -1 penalty when you change targets during the same attack. Semi-Rapid Fire attacks cause critical damage and activate Devastating Critical Injuries.
