Sidearm Specialist

You are skilled in the use of Pistols and gain certain benefits depending on which weapon you use.

Sidearm Specialist

Prerequisite: Weapon Proficiency (Sidearms), Legendary Weapon Proficiency (any Sidearm), or Exotic Weapon Proficiency (any Sidearm)
  • Benefit: When you make a ranged attack with a Sidearm with which you are proficient, you gain one of the following benefits, depending on the kind of Sidearm you use.
  1. Blaster Pistol: You may choose to make your attacks against your Target's Reflex Defense.
  2. *Hold-Out Blaster Pistol: If you fire a Hold-Out Blaster Pistol at a target that has not yet acted in combat, you gain a +5 bonus to your attack rolls with that weapon against that target. this bonus applies to all such attacks until the target attacks.*
  3. Magnum Blaster: You treat your target's Damage Resistance as though it's 5 points lower.
  4. Subrepeater: Your Autofire attacks include Point-Blank as an optimal range. Your Burstfire attacks include Medium-Range as an optimal range.
  5. Slugthrower Pistol: You may treat your target's Damage Threshold as though it's 5 points lower.
  6. Slugthrower Revolver: When your weapon damage would move your target -1 down the Condition Track, they move an additional step.
  7. Submachine Gun: Your Auto or Burstfire penalty only increases after your first missed attack.

Improved Sidearm Specialist

Prerequisite: Weapon Focus (any Sidearm), Legendary Weapon Focus (any Sidearm), or Exotic Weapon Focus (any Sidearm) & Sidearm Specialist
  • Benefit: When you make a ranged attack with a Pistol with which you have Weapon Focus, you gain one of the following benefits, depending on the kind of Pistol you use.
  1. Blaster Pistol: You may choose to make your attacks against your Target's Reflex Defense and treat it as though it were 5 points lower.
  2. *Hold-Out Blaster Pistol: If you fire a Hold-Out Blaster Pistol at a target that has not yet acted in combat, you gain a +5 bonus to your attack & damage rolls with that weapon against that target. this bonus applies to all such attacks until the target attacks.*
  3. Magnum Blaster: You treat your target's Damage Resistance & Shield Rating as though it's 5 points lower.
  4. Subrepeater: Your Autofire attacks include Point-Blank as an optimal range. Full-Round Attacks fired inside optimal range may attempt to Sunder the armor/clothing worn by the target (dealing half the normal sunder damage). Your Burstfire attacks include Medium-Range as an optimal range. Full-Round Attacks fired inside optimal range may attempt to Sunder a weapon held by the target (dealing half the normal sunder damage).
  5. Slugthrower Pistol: You may treat your target's Damage Threshold as though it's 5 points lower and add +2 slugs to the magazine.
  6. Slugthrower Revolver: When your weapon damage would move your target -1 down the Condition Track, they move an additional step & are Bleeding for a number of rounds equal to how many steps they moved.
  7. Submachine Gun: Your Auto or Burstfire penalty only increases after your first missed attack or your first target change.

Master Sidearm Specialist

Prerequisite: Weapon Mastery (any Sidearm), Legendary Weapon Mastery (any Sidearm), or Exotic Weapon Mastery (any Sidearm) & Improved Sidearm Specialist
  • Benefit: When you make a ranged attack with a Pistol with which you have mastery, you gain one of the following benefits, depending on the kind of Pistol you use.
  1. Blaster Pistol: You may choose to make your attacks against your Target's Reflex Defense and treat it as though it were 10 points lower.
  2. *Hold-Out Blaster Pistol: If you fire a Hold-Out Blaster Pistol at a target that has not yet acted in combat, you gain a +10 bonus to your attack & damage rolls with that weapon against that target. this bonus applies to all such attacks until the target attacks.*
  3. Magnum Blaster: You treat your target's Damage Resistance & Shield Rating as though it's 10 points lower.
  4. Subrepeater: Your Autofire attacks include Point-Blank as an optimal range. Attacks fired inside optimal range may attempt to Sunder the armor/clothing worn by the target as a Move Action. Your Burstfire attacks include Medium-Range as an optimal range. Attacks fired inside optimal range may attempt to Sunder a weapon held by the target as a Move Action. Once per Encounter, all attacks made within your optimal range have Advantage.
  5. Slugthrower Pistol: You may treat your target's Damage Threshold as though it's 7 points lower and add +4 slugs to the magazine.
  6. Revolver Pistol: When your weapon damage would move your target -1 down the Condition Track, they move an additional 2 steps & are Bleeding for a number of rounds equal to how many steps they moved.
  7. Submachine Gun: Your Auto or Burstfire penalty only increases after you miss an attack or you change targets.

Perfect Sidearm Specialist

Prerequisite: Master Sidearm Specialist, & Combat Mastery.
  • Benefit: When you make a ranged attack with a Pistol with which you have mastery, you gain one of the following benefits, depending on the kind of Pistol you use.
  1. Blaster Pistol: You may choose to make your attacks against your Target's Reflex Defense and treat it as though they are Flat-Footed and 5 points lower. If you surpass their Reflex Defense by 10 points or more you may make another Attack as a Free Action, this ability may stack as long as you have Free Actions to spend.
  2. Hold-Out Blaster Pistol: If you fire a Hold-Out Blaster Pistol at a target that has not yet acted in combat, you gain a +15 bonus to your attack & damage rolls and increase your Critical threat range and Damage Multiplier by 1 with that weapon against that target. this bonus applies to all such attacks until the target attacks.
  3. Magnum Blaster: You treat your target's Damage Resistance & Shield Rating as though it's 15 points lower. You may also treat your Target's General Defense as though they are Flat-Footed, they are not Flat-Footed for the purpose of any abilities, feats, or talents you may have.
  4. Subrepeater: Your Autofire attacks include Point-Blank as an optimal range. Attacks fired inside optimal range may attempt to Sunder the armor/clothing worn by the target as a Swift Action. Your Burstfire attacks include Medium-Range as an optimal range. Attacks fired inside optimal range may attempt to Sunder a weapon held by the target as a Swift Action. Once per Encounter (plus a number of times equal to your Dexterity modifier), all attack rolls and damage rolls made within your optimal range have Advantage.
  5. Slugthrower Pistol: You may treat your target's Damage Threshold as though it's 10 points lower, add +6 slugs to the magazine, and your shots always count as aimed.
  6. Revolver Pistol: When your weapon damage would move your target -1 down the Condition Track, they move an additional 2 steps, Bleed for a number of rounds equal to how many steps they moved, and are Staggered for 1 round.
  7. Submachine Gun: Your Auto or Burstfire penalty only increases after you miss an attack or you change targets. Your Critical Threat Range increases by 1 after each attack missed and your first damage roll after a target change gains a Circumstance bonus equal to your Auto or Burstfire penalty.
