Suppressing Fire
As a full-round action, a character may lay down suppressing fire in a 2x2 space that affects all creatures in that area, this is treated as an area attack with a -5 to the attack roll. The results of the attack roll are compared to the Reflex Defense of all creatures in that area. If it surpasses their reflex defense they are considered threatened by the Suppressing Fire and are subject to an Attack of Opportunity. Targets under the effect of Suppressing Fire, lose the ability to threaten any squares, take Disadvantage on attack rolls, a -5 on attribute & skill rolls, and Force users must make an immediate concentration check to maintain any active Force Abilities that are being actively maintained. If your attack roll surpasses their Reflex Defense by 5, they also take half damage from your attack; if it is surpassed by 10 or more they take full damage from your attack in addition to all the penalties imposed upon them. If the result of the attack roll does not surpass their reflex defense they take a -2 to any attack, skill, and ability rolls. Suppressing Fire overheats blasters and can only be used on slugthrowers with more than 8 slugs in the magazine when the attack starts.
