Target Designation

Your Area Attacks deal more damage to one target within the area of effect.

Target Designation

Prerequisite: Base Attack Bonus +6 & Weapon Focus (Chosen)
  • Benefit: When you make a successful Area Attack with a weapon with which you have Weapon Focus with, select a target hit by the attack. That target takes additional points of damage (equal to your Base Attack Bonus) from the attack, before applying the effect of the Evasion Talent, if they have it.

Improved Target Designation

Prerequisite: Base Attack Bonus +9, Weapon Focus (Chosen), & Target Designation
  • Benefit: When you make a successful Area Attack with a weapon with which you have Weapon Focus with, select a target hit by the attack. That target takes additional points of damage (equal to your Base Attack Bonus) from the attack; if the target has Evasion (or any other Talent or Feat that allows them to mitigate damage received by Area Attacks) it does not apply toward this attack.

Master Target Designation

Prerequisite: Base Attack Bonus +12, Weapon Focus (Chosen), & Improved Target Designation
  • Benefit: When you make a successful Area Attack with a weapon with which you have Weapon Focus with, select a number of targets, equal to your Dexterity Modifier, hit by the attack. The targets chosen take additional points of damage (equal to your Base Attack Bonus) from the attack; if any of the targets has Evasion (or any other Talent or Feat that allows them to mitigate damage received by Area Attacks) it does not apply toward this attack.

Perfect Target Designation

Prerequisite: Base Attack Bonus +15, Weapon Focus (Chosen), Master Target Designation, & Commando Training
  • Benefit: When you make a successful Area Attack with a weapon with which you have Weapon Focus with, select a number of targets, equal to your Dexterity Modifier, hit by the attack. The targets chosen take additional points of damage (equal to your Base Attack Bonus) from the attack; if any of the targets has Evasion (or any other Talent or Feat that allows them to mitigate damage received by Area Attacks) it does not apply toward this attack. The targets also receive a Devastating Injury, the result roll is made with a number of d10s equal to One-Half your Hero Level + whatever other bonuses you may have.
