Weapon Proficiency

You are proficient with a particular kind of weaponry.

Weapon Proficiency

• Benefit: Choose one of the following Weapon Types: Assault Weapons, Heavy Weapons, Melee Weapons, Sidearms, or Simple Weapons. You become proficient with all weapons of that type, no matter the Weapon Group. You also can take advantage of any of the weapon's abilities, integrated equipment, and upgrades. You can take this feat multiple times to gain proficiency in an additional Weapon Type.
• Special: You cannot choose Exotic Weapons or Legendary Weapons as an option for this feat; instead, you must select the Exotic Item Proficiency or Legendary Weapon Proficiency to gain proficiency with a specific Exotic Weapon or Legendary Weapon Groups.
