True Galactic Empire

The True Galactic Empire is ruled by the self-promoted Grand Moff Phedrik Tarkin, a cousin of the late Wilhuff Tarkin and prominent New Order ideologue, and serves as a rallying point for those of similar beliefs who have rejected Leia Organa's authority. The territory of the True Empire extends from the capital planet Eriadu coreward along the Rimma Trade Route and Hydian Way as far as the Expansion Region, west and rimward to the edges of known space, and east along the Triellus Trade Run to the Five Veils Route.

Structure

The True Empire, as befits the heirs of Palpatine's New Order, is autocratic and hierarchical in the extreme. Authority flows down from Phedrik Tarkin.

Public Agenda

Tarkin's stated goal is to restore the New Order to dominance over the rest of the galaxy and install himself as the new Galactic Emperor.

Assets

The True Empire controls a bit more than a quarter of the old Imperial Navy, spearheaded by an Executor-class Super Star Destroyer recently rechristened Sheev Palpatine in honor of the late Emperor.

TIE/ad Avenger

The TIE Avenger is a multi-purpose starfighter developed from the TIE Advanced x1 flown by Lord Vader at the Battle of Yavin as one of the Empire’s many proposed answers to the T-65 X-wing starfighter; it won out over the competing TIE Defender design on the basis of its lower cost and the ability to be launched from existing TIE racks. However, the Battle of Endor pre-empted any plans to put the craft into large-scale production, leaving the Avenger as a rarity assigned only to the most skilled aces of the True Empire's fleet, at least for now.
