Effect

By hiding his mind behind a curtain of Force-inspired confusing thoughts, the Mentat prevents mental harm being brought to him or his perceptions being altered against his will. The Chaos Pattern can also serve to mask the presence of a Mentat against any sense life or similar manipulations.

Side/Secondary Effects

The shield grants the following protection:

Willpower (or Knowledge) + 2D vs mental harm or mental alteration effects (hypnosis, mind-altering substances, etc)
