The Game is Afoot: Droid Log
General Summary
Droid log:
We have arrived at our destination and was greeted by Mia Kotis. She has stated that we have been requested due to the true identity of the Bounty Hunter Verin Dola was in reality a former Imperial Inquisitor. Since Imperial Security is attempting to find any Imperial Inquisitors due to they being charged with war crimes, they have asked that we assist in determining who he was working with and where they are located.
There is a concern that he has uncatalogued Mandalorian Iron. Clan Venn and Count vor Isadora have been contacted about the current supply of Mandalorian Iron. His cyberware also seems to be of a non-standard design.
Aerena, will investigate the cyberware in an attempt to determine if this may or may not be similiar to the cyberware created by outlaw techs friendly to the Medusa spacer gang.
Sozen will be looking at star charts and see if he can attempt to better understand them than Impsec can.
I will be attempting to translate a data pad for the agent.
Imperial forensics is currently inspecting the body.
Sozen has requested tea. The agent has agreed to comply but firsts ask if there any questions. So far we do not have any questions for her.
I have been handed the pad, It seems that they have been using an astromech droid to decrypt the pad. Now that they have given it to a higher order droid, I have determined that it is a letter swap of an ancient dialect of the Kumumgah people. As this language incorporates facial features and scent codes, I am having trouble with the initial translation. After determining that it was not a word cypher based on Gamorrean Limericks, I was able to determine that there are a series of shorthand notes built into the limericks. It seem the Kumugah are associated with the Halud.
Sozen, has begun creating a holomap based on the fragments given to him. The flight recorder believes it is going to Byss which is toward the galactic core, but the flight data shows it travelling to the outer rim. Jedi Sozen is now staring blankly into space.
Aerena’s initial investigation has determined that his arm is coated in Mandalorean Iron. Further investigation has determined that the cyberware is in fact boobytrapped. It seems biologicals are also affected by ionization charges.
I have asked about why the Inquisitor would be using an ancient dialect of a Tatooniee ancestor. The technician believed the Emperor was keenly interested in a Jedi General from Tatoonie, so basically completely useless in this endeavour. It seems he has an interest in the Halud, and knows that they are near Thyferra, so he might be almost useful after all.
I have mentioned this fact and how the Inquisitor may have a contact there, and Jedi Sorzen has noted that.
Based upon Jedi Sozen’s information, we will not be travelling to the initial planet at it is unsuitable for intelligent life.
The ruins seem to predate the Jedi existence so perhaps they are of Kumumgah origin. We must further investigate the usefulness of the Jedi artifacts in the ruins or mining of the crystals.
After a discussion with R2, it is determined that we would be able to travel to the coordinates within the time frame requested by “The Collector”.
Sozen has completed his impersonation of an astromech droid and has signalled for Agent Kotis.
Sozen is telling Agent Kotis that the Force is calling basic laws of physics a liar. There seems to be a very cold path through a very hot star can be peformed in the dark.
It is believed that there may be a citadel with gravitational ships that were owned by Palpatine in the dark.
Aerena continued her inspection. She continues to show that biologicals are not immune to ionization. We currently believe that the second boobytrap set off a dioxin poison attack, but the attack did occure immediately after the Captain tampered with the arm.
During the poison event, Jedi Sorzen has acknowledged that he is really paranoid. He also seems to be a larcenistic tendencies.
We have been attacked by a group in power armor. One of them has attempted to override R2’s systems, but Sozen was able to remove the restraining bolt. Aerena has knocked down one of them with batteries. I have taken the sensible approach and left the room.
Imperial Security has been nice enough to send us additional resources.
I met one of the bounty hunters in the crawl space. After cracking her visor, she attempted to attack me with a hydrospanner. She has decided that was a bad decision.
Meanwhile upstairs, Sozen shows that biologicals are not immune to ionization effects.
It seems one of the Beskar Aran was able to assist Sozen and Aerena in defeating the rest of the bounty hunters.
The Bounty Hunter helmet showed that the poison was a faux di-oxin. I reached the morgue and the technicians had already been succumbed. I was able to acquire a sample of the organic bomb used by the bounty hunters to stage this attack.
