A particularly elegant weapon, the vibrorapier is often carried by nobles, gentlebeings and others who wish to display an air of roguishness.

Vibrorapiers have two unique properties. Unlike other vibroweapons, vibrorapiers are near silent when in operation. They have at best a very soft, steady hum and cast a faint white aura around the blade. This is due to the ultrasonic nature of their vibrations.

In addition, a vibrorapier is able to better withstand damage from a lightfoil or lightsaber. A vibrorapier uses a 5D to resist damage to the blade instead of a 3D.
