in Regions of the GalaxyThe Outer Rim Territories, also known simply as the 'Outer Rim', is a band of space located outside the Mid Rim region. Wide and vast with numerous sectors and systems, the Outer Rim is the least settled when compared with regions closer to the galactic core. But that isn't to say its empty. The Outer Rim is a 'frontier' space with a cornucopia of rugged, primitive worlds alongside worlds with ancient, isolated cultures and even more ancient ruins of long-vanished civilizations that prospered thousands of years before the rise of the Old Republic, the Star Empire, or the Tapani Imperium.
