Gerwald has been running his archeological/historical operations in Exantius for the past 20 years. He is currently the lead historian when it comes to studying ancient artifacts, but he has also employed several talented individuals to assist him in his research.
Education
Gerwald studied undead culture, philosophy and history in the Church of silence just off the continent of Atraskia.
He found a specific love for undead culture and wished to know more- to his dismay, a lot of undead history books were lost due to the gap.
Employment
Being a historian for The Bone Sages is no easy task, but Gerwald is known to always bring the Sages what they expect. Every 6 months Gerwald has to write a report consisting on what archeological finds he's managed to find & what his study has come to regarding these items.
Once that has been done, his organisation will continue to get funded by the Sages and work continues.
