Stargate Command Nyxian Expedition
100,000 Earth's finest minds, soldiers, and several allies from within the Milk Way Galaxy have teamed up together to explore a new set of galaxy coordinates sent back to Earth from the Destiny Exploration Team. They embarked on the Alteran City-ship Atlantis that had been re-purposed by the Tau'ri of Earth. Now the team is using Atlantis to explore Nyxian Galaxy and any other galaxy they discover. Upon discovering the planet Helios they are forced to make a landing on the surface as the Hyper drive engines and shields needed extensive repairs. It was Heliod himself who first approached to find out their intentions on his world. Upon the discovering their origins he agrees to allow them to remain on the planet as long as they are will to act in the defense of the citizens in his care. He gives them the gate address to his capital city Meletis, and invites them to come visit. its in Meletis that SCNE learns of how different the galaxy of Nyx is from the Milky Way. Even the people on Meletis very different. SCNE also discovers legends of threats that seem far worse than what they encountered thus far in the years since they had discovered their Stargate.
