The Children of Xenagos
“Embrace every moment, for it could be your last.” —Xenagos
Xenagos was the name of a warlord who ruled over the planet called Gruulisha. Being annoyed at constantly having to fight off the Slivers while trying govern over his planet, Xenagos looked into methods that would allow him to control the Slivers and make them his loyal Army. After many decades of studying into this idea, he created the Hivestones, using his blood as a part of the process to command the artifact to function. Soon after he went on a war campaign to other worlds in the hopes of conquering them and controlling the Slivers where ever he went. On each planet he went to he mated with people of there and they bore his offspring. He trained and groomed them to follow in his footsteps, showing them how to control the Slivers and repair the artifact as needed. According to family legend, Xenogas returned to his homeworld and sealed himself away, until the galaxy was was too weak to resist him and his plans for conquest.
Structure
Clan like structure on each planet with a clan leader who works with the leaders from other worlds on maintaining the Hivestones, and controlling them as needed.
Public Agenda
a secret society of relatives broken down into clans who all work together to ensure their Hivestones remain working and remain under their control. The warlord who founded them and created them was secretly known as The "Weaver King" for he had the ability to weave political webs and manipulate anyone he wanted to. The society has been his caretaker and preparing for his eagerly awaited return.

A wealthy galaxy wide society of people who have their hands into the majority of each planet's major cities and how they are run.
