Extractors

This culture born in the conflict between the Qiuva and Fexians, they seek to end the conflict in any way possible. While no central location, they have developed among the stars. Typically only seen among privately own space and mining stations. As a result, it was born from the less fortunate people who have struggled economically.

Major language groups and dialects

With in this sub-culture, versions of the languages of old have been modified to create a coded language to communicate between other Extractors. This is called Extracts. Taught by parent's to their children, there is no centralized codex with all the translations as the phrases change between the mixing of the different culture groups.

Culture and cultural heritage

Honor and Death: Life is short, but sacrificing it for the cause it put above all else.   War is Natural: War can never be stopped, but you can shorten is by your actions.   Unity among Family: Working together with other extractors builds bonds for life.

Shared customary codes and values

War will always arise, so to ensure that it will become less frequent, leave your enemies in shambles. Most opponents do not deserve your respect and mercy and such is the way the galaxy works. However, if your opponent shows you honor and mercy, then reciprocate.

Common Etiquette rules

When you meet with a Extractor here are a few tips:
  • Extractors prize honor above all.
  • Speaking Extract is key.
  • Extractors are typically violent in nature, respect their opinions to avoid conflicts.
  • Do not try to initiate yourself into this culture. They do not like outsiders.
  • Defeat is never an option nor exist.

Common Customs, traditions and rituals

Palunk: Ramming your ship into the enemy ship is always a a viable option. Extractors have developed ships and techniques to be able to use it effectively.   The Last Butterfly: It is said that the first extractors were saved by an small insect. This insect is still alive to this day and is worship among extractors as a divine entity. It survived the glassing of it's home planet unlike the rest of it's kind.

Funerary and Memorial customs

When an extractor dies, the body is cremated and place in a jar depicting their lifetime. It is then placed on a rock body for them to rest.

Common Taboos

Breaking any deals with them will infuriate them. They will do anything to extract revenge upon them.
