You draw strands of solidified ectoplasm from the Astral Plane that wrap up the target. The subject can still breathe and take purely mental actions, but is otherwise helpless. They are unable to see outside the cocoon, speak, or take any physical action. Cutting or damaging the cocoon can free the victim. It has hardness 8 and 20 hit points. Teleportation forms a means of escape; the cocoon will not follow the victim. The victim is visible only as a vague shape within the mass and cannot be directly harmed or interacted with unless the cocoon is destroyed. They can be moved normally, the cocoon itself has Light bulk. A creature that is cocooned while aloft begins to fall immediately, one underwater may drown.
Augment: You can augment this power in any of the following ways:

1. For every 2 additional psi points you spend, increase the maximum size of the target by one size category.
2. For every 3 additional psi points you spend, increase the hardness by one and the hit points by five.
3. If you spend 2 additional psi points, the cocoon is fully sealed. Subjects gain environmental protection, including enough air for the duration of this power.
4. If you spend 10 additional psi points, this affects all creatures within a 20 ft. radius burst centered within range. If a creature is only partially within the area, this power does not affect the creature.
5. If you expend your Psionic Focus, the range of this power becomes Medium (100 ft. + 10 ft./level).
