Who and Where?

The Founding Members

The Earthen Ecological Society started as a group of people committed to protecting Earth's environment so that it remains habitable for for future generations. After the Earth neared destruction in the early 2000s, a group of activists got together to petition the governments for change. They fought to put laws in place to protect Earth's oxygen levels and natural habitats. They formed an organization that is now known as the Earthen Ecological Society.

What and Why

Actions

The Earthen Ecological Society are now an official government branch. They work alongside officials to advise and guide them on how best to protect Earth's future. They also work closely with a range of scientists to ensure that humankind are doing all they can to save their home from destruction.
Ultimately, their main job is to undo the damage caused by humans in the 1900s and early 2000s, and slow down or stop Earth's dying.

Opinions

The Earthen Ecological Society strongly oppose the The United Space Confederation and spaceflight in general. Their first reason is because even with scientists attempts to make spaceflight better for the planet, spaceships release large amounts of chemicals into Earth's atmosphere and damage the already delicate ozone layer.
Their second reason, is that feel like those who endorse space exploration have given up on Earth. They think that those who look for a new future no longer care about human history and their origins. This is often untrue, and space pilots and engineers believe the Earth can be saved, they just like to look for other options as well.
