Description

Appearance

Very little is known about what Whispers look like because they are almost invisible. They float through space, giving almost no indication of their presence. It is believed that they range in size from that of a dinner plate to the size of a large car, although this has never been proven.
The only clue they give to their presence is a whispering sound which is heard within the spectator's own head. This is how they gained their name.

Behaviour

Whispers float aimlessly through space consuming any debris found in their path. This can be anything from rusting spaceships left behind by humans of the past, or something more sinister... Because of their ability to clean up mess, humans have generally left them alone.
The majority of debris in space (at least around Earth) was cause by humans before the spaceflight ban, and has caused an increased number of Whispers in this area.

Origins

The origins of whispers are unknown, but it is believed that they may be summoned by an increased amount of space debris. Other theories suggest that they may even come from outside the universe itself! Scientists do not believe they are dangerous, but before their official discovery, whispers caused a large amount of confusion. Space debris that was being monitored by Earthen organizations began to rapidly decline with no explanation. Some even believe that whispers are a conspiracy theory made up by scientists because they cannot explain why the debris is disappearing...
