Nià̃ku Farming

A common farming technique throughout the Ràpà̃j Peninsula and the Midlands, Nià̃ku farming is technique reliant on Stellar Magic. While most magical technologies were lost after the Starfall, Nià̃ku farming uses very little magic and was so widespread even two thousand years ago, that one would have to try very hard to lose it.

Availability

The simplest forms of Nià̃ku can be found in practically every village. Of course, the knowledge and practice of it is passed down from generation to generation, not taught in schools. This means that while every village will know a few spells for fixing an over- or under-watered crop, only some know the best techniques and spells.
For example, its said a thousand years ago, all villages had a mage that could instantly tell the issues with a patch of soil and use earth-attributed magic to fix it in minutes. Today, even the first half is something that takes years of study, and maintaining soil composition is something that takes a talented mage with the right know-how. Only a handful of places such as Shuràsh Town or Uàshya Town are known for having mages of that caliber.
On a side note, the difference can seen easily, as both towns are renowned for their high quality crops and products.
